I can't speak for you....yes YOU....but, I think it's time to lose the "old forums" link. That way we can revisit redundant topics, and no one will ever know the difference! Kinda like starting all over! Like when you're about to dump your boring girlfriend, but she surprisingly dyes her hair blonde and buys a mini-skirt. Actually, it's nothing like that at all. Where am I? Hello?....Hello? Echo....Echo.

While Yoda said we must "unlearn what we have learned," must must not undo what we cannot re-do. Keep the link. Just like bad TV shows, if you don't like it or want to participate, don't click on it. Unless it's slowing up the new site, then I'd be torn.

Yeah, what he said... No I think the link should stay somewhere. I still peruse those old threads for reference. There's some great discussions in there that beat the pants off the stuff in some of these new threads. But like Bel-Cam said, if it slows the system down then reluctantly I would agree that they be jettisoned into deep space with a memorial plaque for some alien lifeforms to try and decipher or eat. But my preference is that they stay.

Wait...let's be rational. I totally understand the need for nolstagia, memories, and all.....but come on....who's REALLY using them?...and when EPII opens?....Please.....there will be plenty to talk about, and tons of new JarJar abuse threads. Better yet.....that should be the deal: At the opening of EpII, we lose the old forums.

So if you delete the old forums then future generations won't get to experience the genius of the "I don't even collect the cards, but..." thread. Don't deny our children a glimpse at history. How else are they going to find out what raving lunatics their fathers were?:D

Some what starfig?:eek: Thing is, if we leave them there - the old forums that is - we don't constantly have to explain things to latecomers. We can simply link back to an old thread and let them get on with educating themselves into this madhouse. :) If any of them get lost and don't make it back, then I say that it's natural selection in action :) :D :)

P.S. Interesting that what EVERYONE was called is a now censored word! It's gray without the "r."
